Youth mental health is a crucial aspect of healthcare, and as a senior clinician, you will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.\
Required Skills and Qualifications:
\
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
\
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the relevant professional body for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association for Social Workers.
\
* Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma-informed care and its application.
\
* Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
\
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improve consumer care and outcomes.
\
* Effective interpersonal skills, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, and competence in the use of information technology systems.
\
* Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
\
* Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to staff and students.
\
* Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's license and the ability to maintain it.
