Overview
My client is an established fashion and retail organisation. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve its core IT environment. This role focuses on infrastructure stability, security, and ongoing optimisation across both on-premise and cloud platforms. You\'ll be part of a small, capable IT team, acting as a senior escalation point and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and services.
Responsibilities
* Support and maintain server, network and cloud infrastructure
* Manage backups, disaster recovery and system resilience
* Perform security patching, updates and monitoring
* Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
* Respond to incidents and provide advanced technical support
* Assist with system upgrades, migrations and new technology deployments
* Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
* Ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements
* Manage vendor and privileged access
Qualifications
* Strong Windows Server, networking and virtualisation experience
* Exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365 and security tooling
* Understanding of cyber security and compliance principles
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonoml
