About the Role
KBSS is seeking Expressions of Interest for a motivated, and suitably experienced, Project Engineers to join our team and play a key role in delivering project across Mining and Energy contracts in the Pilbara. Working closely with the Superintendents, you will provide support across planning, execution, and delivery phases to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
This role offers flexibility to be based in Karratha or FIFO.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Superintendent/ Project Manager in managing projects from tender stage through to completion.
* Coordinate project activities including scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Provide technical input to project planning, design reviews, and execution strategies.
* Monitor progress and proactively address risks or delays.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Degree qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
* 2+ years industry experience
* Experience in compilation of Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs)
* Experience in project management / coordination within mining, construction, or heavy industry (desirable)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
* Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
