Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Regional Marketing Manager to focus and scale our Acceleration (Cross-Sell & Upgrades) marketing programs in APAC. You will be responsible for identifying, building and optimising highly targeted campaigns along with always-on programs with the objective of driving product awareness and pipeline generation that expands product adoption within existing customers. As an effective and creative marketer who’s all about impact through collaboration, you will make commercial decisions based on insights, bringing together teams to execute while driving collaboration across crafts at both the regional and global level.
This is a critical marketing role, responsible for driving demand that results in increased Sales Opportunities and pipeline health for our Acceleration Sales teams in APAC. Focused on key markets (but not limited to) Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, you will work closely cross-functionally to develop creative initiatives focused on a unified commerce solution based narrative.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns as well as always-on programs focused on revenue Acceleration to drive and optimise sales pipeline
2. Measure, report and analyse marketing program performance across all stages of the funnel to identifying new opportunities and optimise funnel opportunities
3. Develop a deep understanding of our customer base, PMF and usage metrics, customer segmentation, and ideal channel strategy based on their consumption.
4. Maintain a regular insight share out cadence regarding regional customer behaviours, buying preferences and patterns
5. Closely collaborate with all marketing teams (Regional, Campaigns, Events, Partner, Content, Demand, Growth) both regionally and globally to ensure the development and delivery of the most effective and efficient marketing programs for your markets and our customers
6. Drive ‘local to global’ exchanges of ideas, context, and strategy to help continue to strengthen our working model, highlighting what’s working, what’s not, and what else is required to augment our regional marketing approach
7. Act as a strong ‘voice of the customer’ to help prioritise international product roadmaps and marketing initiatives
8. Update the marketing, sales, and product teams about our regional customer behaviours, buying preferences and patterns
9. Provide feedback to the broader Shopify teams about the market, what’s working, what’s not, and what else is required to augment the growth strategy
10. Support APAC-wide marketing team goals and programs, ensuring their success in the region
11. Unafraid to advocate and push forward important strategies and tactics to make the business stronger
Qualifications
12. Experience leading or within a revenue focused marketing team preferably in a B2B Software SAAS sales environment
13. Experience with go-to-market and journey optimisation
14. Deep knowledge of full funnel and account based marketing
15. Experience leveraging data to tell a compelling user experience story, track conversion rates across the funnel by campaign and by tactic,
16. Continual improvement mindset
17. A demonstrable confidence and authority as a marketing voice within the business
