What you'll be doing
* Assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen, including overseeing staff, menu planning, and inventory control
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the club's exacting standards
* Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to
* Training and developing kitchen staff to improve their skills and efficiency
* Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests
What we're looking for
* A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within hotel, café or Club environment
* Proven track record of successfully managing a busy kitchen in service and event catering.
* Excellent culinary skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
* Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills and team-building abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop kitchen staff
* A natural leader who values teamwork, discipline and standards
* Passion for creating innovative, visually appealing dishes that showcase seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
* A recognised culinary trade qualification
