Aeris Resources are currently seeking applications from experienced Open Pit Geologists at Murrawombie, part of our Tritton Operations in Central NSW.
The Nitty Gritty
* Adhering to Ore Spotting procedures and mentoring team to maintain standard of practice
* Coordinating Geological Technicians
* Undertaking all facets of grade control including developing 3d modelling and resource estimations pre mining
* Ensuring up to date accurate mapping and assist with monthly reconciliations

About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Geology/Geoscience.
* Open, manual, 'C' class drivers licence
* Demonstrated experience with procedural development and implementation in an Open Cut environment
* Demonstrated experience with QAQC and grade control procedures.
* A comprehensive understanding of open cut mining methods.
* Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing – with the ability to build valued relationships across site and corporate teams.
The Company
Tritton Operations
Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are transitioning to a 'hub-and-spoke' model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
