About the Position
This role offers an opportunity to work as a Speech Pathologist in a community-based setting, providing adult speech pathology services. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions for clients with communication and swallowing difficulties. This includes managing conditions such as congenital or acquired disability, stroke, dementia, and Parkinson's disease.
The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers person-centred care. Client-directed care plans are developed to achieve client goals, implementing a self-management approach to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver adult speech pathology services
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for clients
- Work within a multi-disciplinary framework to deliver person-centred care
Requirements:
* Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology
* Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 & yearly influenza
