Jimbour State School is seeking a motivated part-time cleaner to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of cleaning to our small school.
As the sole cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all school facilities, with flexible scheduling available as approved by the Principal (maximum of 5 hours per day).
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.39FTE), 30 hours per fortnight.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time cleaner to ensure the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard.
This role plays a key part in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Scheduling is flexible and will be arranged in consultation with the Principal.
Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, furniture, and equipment.
Maintaining toilet facilities and sick bays to a high standard of hygiene.
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, including vinyl and timber floor maintenance.
Managing rubbish disposal, litter control, and graffiti removal.
Ensuring the security of the school by locking and unlocking buildings and activating/disarming security systems as required.
