Job Description:
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and delivery of control and automation systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support major programs such as DOWSP and PSP, while also contributing to new pursuits across Queensland and beyond.
This role offers a 50:50 balance between technical delivery and project/design management, ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our clients and drive business growth.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept design to completion, and will be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including specification, concept and detailed design, testing, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
* Design, integrate, and deliver control and automation systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support major programs and contribute to new pursuits

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Control Systems, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is essential; RPEQ is highly desirable
* 5–15 years of experience delivering control systems for projects in power generation (coal, gas, CCGT, hydro, renewables), oil and gas, and other process industries
* Proven capability in specification, concept and detailed design, testing, and commissioning
* Strong client focus with a track record in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management
