Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Core Operations Assistant Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Asia Pacific Global delivery Fund Order Services unit, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for operational risks. They will be responsible for overseeing team performance, reviewing internal standards, and escalating potential issues to supervisors or next-level managers as needed.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations and deliveries of assigned clients with a focus on oversight of operational risks.
* Ensure all activities are completed in line with internal standards and review as required.
* Effectively manage incoming queries in a timely and accurate manner.
* Work collaboratively with individuals on the team and other business units, shared services/COEs, outsource partners, and external clients as needed to resolve issues/discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A working knowledge of financial products and markets.
* Strong computer competence, particularly with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
* The ability to work under pressure/deadlines-driven environments.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Professional email writing skills and fluent spoken English.
