The ideal candidate has food retail or hospitality experience, excels in team environments, and can support, lead, and develop staff while enhancing operational efficiency.You will serve as the link between ownership and ground teams, ensuring smooth operations at both locations without owner intervention.Key Responsibilities:People & Team Management:Support, train, and supervise staff to ensure high performance and compliance with store procedures.Identify and develop team leaders and senior staff.Manage rostering, shift coverage, and basic HR functions such as conflict resolution, feedback, and staff morale.Facilitate staff onboarding using training checklists and SOPs.Operations & Quality Control:Monitor baking, decorating, and service quality to uphold brand standards.Ensure opening, closing, and cleaning procedures are followed consistently.Maintain inventory levels and manage ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.Prepare basic weekly reports for the owner on sales trends, issues, successes, and areas for improvement.Customer Service Oversight:Handle escalated customer issues professionally and promptly.Train and coach staff on upselling, store presentation, and customer interactions.Efficiency & Process Improvements:Identify and implement improvements to save time, reduce waste, and enhance staff workflows.Keep daily task lists and SOPs current and relevant.Troubleshoot operational issues (equipment, supplies, staffing, etc.)
