**About the role**
As an integral member of the Operations Leadership Team (OLT), and in support of the OneHealthscope Strategy, you will be accountable to two key pillars, Improve Experience and Grow our Business. You will do this through leadership of the Marketing and Business Development teams, and via engagement with Partners (including Visiting Medical Officers [VMOs]), People and Patients nationally.

Improve the Experience:

- Own the VMO engagement approach, maintaining a strong VMO pipeline.
- Provide an exceptional VMO experience across the VMO lifecycle (recruit
- exit) by partnering with leaders across Healthscope to implement, including overseeing the measurement of the VMO experience.
- Provide leadership to the Program Manager - VMO, Clinical Streams and Catchments.
- Be an active member of the Leadership team by leading and participating in systems and processes which build a culture of exceptional care and a positive experience for patients, people, and partners.

Grow the Business:

- Grow market share in targeted catchments through identifying and facilitating new sales opportunities in line with 5-year plan.
- Lead, amplify and align the Marketing and Business Development teams' structure, operating model, and high-performance capability.
- Accountability for the ongoing development and delivery of the strategic project pipeline
- Build market advantage - Collaborate with teams across Healthscope including working with the Commercial Team to identify new markets /products, and how to sell new opportunities.
- Build Healthscope's brand identity in the market, improving brand awareness across our stakeholder groups/audiences.
- Set direction for marketing and business development activities, being clear on: VMO pipelines, delivery plan and sales and marketing strategy and approach to focus efforts in the right areas.

**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following skills and criteria:

- Extensive experience managing high performing business development and marketing teams that operate in complex and competitive commercial environments.
- Work in practical service-driven operations teams, developing and maturing high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Experience working with executive-level stakeholders, to deliver on a strategic plan.
- Deep technical knowledge of both business development and marketing functions, able to act as a thought leader, developing innovative strategies and elevating Healthscope's brand in the market.
- Strong financial acumen, able to identify, deliver and communicate financial outcomes.
- Has successfully led a team in an organisation of a similar size and complexity to Healthscope.
- Previously delivered complex projects with a focus on organisational growth outcomes.
- Developed and delivered strategic sales and marketing plans that supported business objectives.
