**Role Overview**:
As a **Press Brake Operator** at Offroad Creative, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining press brake machinery to create intricate and high-quality sheet metal parts. Your attention to detail and expertise in interpreting technical drawings will be essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate and set up press brake machinery to bend, fold, and shape sheet metal based on technical drawings.
- Adjust settings and tooling on the press brake to achieve required dimensions and material specifications.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality control of finished products.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Work with precision and ensure all workpieces meet dimensional and quality standards.
**Ideally, You Will Have**:
- Experience with **Laser Cutting** (advantageous, but not essential).
- Proven experience with **Press Brake** operation in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal materials and an understanding of **CNC operating/fabrication/programming/cutting/folding**.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with **MRP systems** and production scheduling.
- A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong hand/eye coordination and problem-solving skills.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Forklift licence essential**.
- **Driver's licence and own reliable transport**.
- Proficient in computer software and systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
