**Job Title: Concreter**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Interpret plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, leveling surfaces, and cleaning work areas.
- Set out sites using RLs, grid lines, and structural and architectural plans.
- Operate an excavator to drill piers, perform detailed excavation to footings and beams, and other excavation-related tasks.
- Pour and place concrete to meet project specifications.
- Operate hand tools and machinery, such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
- Finish concrete surfaces using techniques such as troweling with helicopters, power trowels, and floats, as well as edging and texturing.
- Monitor the curing process to ensure optimal strength and durability.
- Repair and patch damaged or defective concrete structures.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure all equipment is used properly.
- Work jointly with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Concreter or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of concrete properties, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Experience operating excavators and performing tasks such as drilling piers.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- (Optional) Certification or training in concrete finishing or construction safety is a plus.

Pay: $27.89 - $48.87 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
