Kreskas Brothers Transport is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Transport Manager to join our team in Shepparton, regional Victoria.

As a key leader in our transport team, you’ll be responsible for managing fleet scheduling, driver allocation, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight across our network. This is a highly operational role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys being at the center of the action.
Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
• VBS Scheduling & Freight Coordination: Oversee linehaul truck scheduling to meet vessel cut-offs and import timelines; ensure compliance with Stevedore slot allocations and timely container de-hires.
• Customer Escalation: Handle escalations unresolved by Customer Service or Fleet Control.
• Slot Booking & Manifesting: Secure time slots (DPW/VICT/1ESD) via 1Stop portal (3x daily) ensure accurate manifest completion aligned with forecasts.
• Fleet Communication & Compliance: Liaise with linehaul drivers on trip planning, mass management, fatigue, and NCR issues.
• Team Training & Standards: Work with operators to uphold compliance, punctuality, and company standards.
• Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with Workshop and Fleet Control on vehicle repairs, servicing, and equipment use.
• Reporting & Administration: Manage daily/bi-weekly reporting (e.g., no-shows, 1Stop invoices), pay sheets, and job cost reviews; support accounts with invoice queries.
