About The Role: The Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern will support the Continuous Improvement team in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities. The intern will work on a variety of projects, including developing and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, conducting root cause analysis, and developing and implementing process metrics. The intern will also have the opportunity to work on projects that impact the company's overall operations.
Roles And Responsibilities:
* Maintaining Food Safety System including FSSC 22000
* Implementation of Quality and Continuous Improvement agendas within the factory
* Carrying out training of personnel in Quality, Hygiene and GMP responsibilities and conducting Internal GMP Audits
* Internal Audits
* Maintaining, updating and reviewing of SOP's & company Food Safety systems
* Coordinating quality system documentation and records and communicating with Management and all staff regarding Quality documentation and Production records
* Verifying and maintaining HACCP, monitoring records and ensuring all HACCP Plan verification
Requirements:
* Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in quality assurance, industrial engineering, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with quality assurance software is a plus
* Experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus
