As a skilled Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for infrastructure hardware and software in a fast-paced 24/7 production environment.

* Scheduling and implementing patching and deployment of new and end-of-life systems with minimal impact on business operations.
* Monitoring emails, logs, backups, network gear, and vulnerability scans to identify potential issues before they escalate.
* Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
* Providing technical support for hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

Key Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate in IV in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
* Excellent knowledge and skills in Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016 and above, Microsoft Office/O365.
* Strong PC and Server Hardware knowledge with experience in Cisco network devices, wireless networks, and type-1 hypervisors highly regarded.
* Good teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work alone on tasks in a proactive manner.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize complex issues clearly.
