About the role:
* manage all products and services relating to Cyber Security
* manage Council's security operations service to ensure timely detection of current and emerging security events
* manage and develop incident response plans
* guide and collaborate with key stakeholders for the end-to-end design and development of cyber security solutions
* Produce detailed cyber security status reports for management.

We are seeking:
* degree in information technology, computing science or related discipline, or demonstrated experience
* knowledge and experience in managing products/systems such as SOC/SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection and application control/allowlisting
* an understanding of emerging security technologies and their impacts or benefits
* excellent analytical skills to analyse security events and requirements.

Where it’s located:
This position is based in Tweed Heads and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
