Albany Senior High School (SHS) is on the lookout for a highly motivated and capable Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school's financial, human, and physical resources.
This is a fulltime, fixed term Level 5 Public Service position, commencing early January, ****.

The Role As our MCS, you'll work closely with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team to support the strategic direction of the school.
You'll ideally lead critical business functions and help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This is your chance to make a real and lasting impact on our school community.
You should be an integral member of the school's leadership team, contributing to innovative planning, operational excellence, and positive change across our school community.
We're looking for someone who's not just great with systems and processes, but also enjoys building strong, collaborative relationships and has outstanding interpersonal skills.
Key Areas of Responsibility would include: Human Resources: Lead and manage all school support staff, including recruitment, induction, performance development, and workforce planning.
Your leadership will ideally empower teams to align with the school's strategic goals.
Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
You should ensure financial operations are compliant, transparent, and strategically sound.
Resource and consent to a and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

Demonstrated high-level financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to understand and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
Demonstrated high-level written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated experience in the application of high-level customer service principles and practices.
Demonstrated experience in effective leadership of a team.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level human resource consultancy and financial advice in the development, implementation and management of business and marketing plans.
Demonstrated well developed problem solving and risk management skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.
