**Your new role**
Working within IS&T, Customer Service Branch, and reporting to the Desktop Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a customer-focused desktop support function, that looks for innovative solutions that delights customers.
Your role directly supports front line police officers and enables them to deliver public safety through technology solutions. You will support new technology products and digital systems, be driven by providing outstanding customer service and come with experience from supporting technology, ideally from a service management framework environment.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in the provision and support of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring mínimal downtime for customers.
- Understanding and practical experience managing in a SDLC and ITIL environment
- Sound oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
- Relevant degree qualification in Information Technology or related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge of current end user devices and technology required to undertake modern policing activities.
- Experience working in a managed service or blended environment.
**Salary**
AS03 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum plus super.
