Overview
AE Hoskins Building Services is seeking an experienced Cabinetry Manager to join our team in Balcatta. You will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities, overseeing the production and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate a team of skilled cabinetmakers and installers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.
* Participate in the design and development of custom cabinetry solutions to meet client requirements.
* Provide design advice, cost estimates and fixture recommendations to clients, based on current market trends.
* Oversee the production of cabinetry components in our workshop, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Coordinate the installation of cabinetry on-site, liaising with clients and allocated tradespeople to ensure high quality finishes.
* Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and customer satisfaction.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the production team.
* Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labour hours.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our cabinetry production processes.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cabinetry Manager or in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
* Strong trade skills & knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle challenges on the job.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
* Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
