About The Opportunity
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that food preparation and presentation meet our high standards. Some of your responsibilities will include :
* Oversee and manage all kitchen section efficiently and effectively
* Prepare and cook high-quality Modern Australian and Mediterranean dishes
* Ensure strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
* Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and smooth operation in your section
* Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen team members effectively
* Assist with inventory management, stock control, and rotation procedures
* Order and manage kitchen supplies to maintain optimal stock levels
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience producing high-quality dishes in fast-paced kitchens
* Proven ability as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step into leadership
* Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and modern techniques
* Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent professional qualification
* Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and organisational abilities
* Passion for culinary excellence with creativity, reliability, and a proactive mindset
