You need to be numerically competent, have a hands-on approach, the ability to identify errors and be self-motivated to meet deadlines.
The role will partner with key stakeholders to support growth and plays a key role in the transformation of the Finance function.This role focuses on the need for continual improvement and efficiencies, supporting the transformation of reporting by establishing a reporting strategy and roadmap with considerations for systems and processes.Some core responsibilities include:Support month-end financial close processes, including posting journal entries and regular reportingRespond to financial queries from internal stakeholdersWork collaboratively with senior members of the team to support their areas of responsibilityEnd-to-end processes for annual budget setting including planning, guidance, timetable, templates, reporting and ongoing reforecastProviding leading reporting frameworks to enhance venue and portfolio insights enabling the communication of lead indicatorsReengineering of reporting processes and systems supporting business growthSupport the embedment of visualisation tools such as Power BI and data management tools such as Power queryEngage and collaborate with the business as a trusted advisor to support strategic and operational priorities through financial analysis, insights and recommendations.The EssentialsDemonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.Attention to detail with analytical skills and accuracy in managing financial records.Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related fieldHas started or looking at doing CPA/CA is highly desirable2+ years post degree experience.
