About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced support workers — or those with a strong interest in the field — to join our team in Brisbane's northside. A background in supporting individuals with intellectual disability is highly regarded. We are looking to build new teams in the Caboolture, Burpengary, Redcliffe and Rothwell areas.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or other relevant qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
* A strong passion for supporting individuals with intellectual disability and a commitment to ongoing learning.
* Experience in disability support is highly valued.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check is required prior to commencement.
* Availability of a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week, including nights and sleepover shifts.
* Possession of an open driver's license and reliable transportation.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Respond to clients' needs and work collaboratively with their families, support networks, and other stakeholders in their lives.
* Accurately document activities, progress notes, and incident reports in a timely manner.
* Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies when required, with training provided where necessary.
* Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times.
