Job Title: Corporate Governance and Data Privacy Specialist
This role is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic advice on corporate governance, data privacy, and risk management to a leading financial institution.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general legal advice to the Bank in Australia on various commercial and corporate legal matters.
* Oversee corporate governance and advise on governance-related issues, working collaboratively with governance specialists in other locations.
* Act as statutory company secretary for all Deutsche Bank Group entities in Australia, providing board support to the Bank and its subsidiaries.
* Manage the Bank's Australian Personal Properties Securities Registration (PPSR) records.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience working in a law firm or in-house legal/compliance department with Australian legal qualifications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
* Proficient in using MS Word/PowerPoint.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
