Your role is to help create a safe, stable and supportive setting that promotes each young person's emotional, social and developmental wellbeing.You will be the primary caregiver during your shift, supporting young people to build life skills, follow daily routines, and engage in age-appropriate activities. You will work closely with the Coordinator and Service Manager to implement trauma-informed support strategies for young people with complex needs.What a day in the life of a Residential Youth Worker looks like:Planning and engaging in meaningful activities with the young person.Being a vital part of a cohesive team, dedicated to helping young people achieve their personal goals.Promoting good hygiene and nutrition.Maintaining daily case notes, handling administrative tasks, and preparing incident reports.Casual & Permanent Part-Time position available.
