**About the Role**
The People & Capability Manager role is based at Acacia Prison in Wooroloo WA and may work across multiple sites, providing an informed, professional and efficient service on all aspects of people & capability management and strategy, as determined by the business.
This includes partnering with General Managers & Contract Directors and senior staff to identify P&C priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions in relation to organisational development, culture and change to deliver outcomes and manage issues. The P&C Manager ensures that the delivery of programmes and initiatives is closely aligned with Serco's vision and goals.

To be successful you will have:_**
- Tertiary qualification in human resource management or a related field.
- Ability to analyse people issues and relate them to commercial outcomes.
- Coaching/Mentoring skills.
- Linking people strategy and initiatives at a business unit level to the commercial success of an organisation, understanding where HR can add value to the business.
- Use of commercial acumen to set priorities with a financial return, balanced against other business success factors.
- Analyse people issues affecting business unit performance and making changes to demonstrably rectify and improve issues.
- Strong generalist HR background working across the employment lifecycle with sound knowledge HR specialisms i.e. Reward, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, OD, L&D and Employee/Industrial Relations
- Solid experience investigating and managing workplace grievances and complaints.
- Evidence of delivering change in complex and demanding environments.
- Account management (i.e. monitoring and managing the quality of HR delivery services within the business unit).
