Job Description
The HSEQ Coordinator supports the National HSEQ Lead in delivering effective Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems across a national operation in Australia and New Zealand. The role ensures compliance, drives continuous improvement, and provideshands-onsupport to frontline leaders and operational teams.
Part time (4 Days per week/30.4hrs)
HSEQ Systems & Compliance
* Assistin the implementation,maintenanceand continuous improvement of HSEQ Management Systems.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and internal HSEQ policies.
* Support internal and external audit activities, including tracking and closing out findings.
* Maintainaccuratedocumentation,registersand compliance records.
* Support the development, review and improvement of policies,proceduresand Safe Workprocedures.
Incident, Risk and NCR Management
* Coordinate incident reporting,investigationand corrective actions.
* ManageNon-conformanceReports (NCRs), including tracking, root causeanalysisand closure.
* Conduct and review risk assessments, JSAs and hazard identification processes.
* Support implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
* Assistin communicating learnings and improvements across teams.
* Comply withthe organisations Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management system and any local legislation,regulationsand standards
* Uphold duty of care obligations under WHSQ laws, including safe work practices and hazard management.
Operational Support & Engagement
* Provide HSEQ support across multiple locations, including remote operations and workshops.
* Conduct site visits,inspectionsand field risk assessments.
* Support frontline leaders with risk identification, control implementation and decision making.
* Support contractorand customersafety management processes.
* Assistin monitoring environmental performance (waste, emissions, spills, sustainability practices).
* Support compliance with environmental permits, reporting requirements and management plans.
* Support the development and improvement of environmental procedures and response plans.
Training & Competency
* Support onboarding and compliance training for new employees.
* Coordinate inductions, competency assessments, health monitoring andcustomer specificrequirements.
* Facilitate and support HSE Committeemeetings.
* Prepare regular HSEQ performance reports, dashboards,metricsand insights.
* In conjunction with the HSEQ Lead -Highlight trends,risksand opportunities for improvement.
* Support continuous improvement projects across HSEQ and operational teams.
* Maintain HSEQdocumentation,systemsand reporting tools.

Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 yearsdemonstratedexperience in a similar HSEQ role.
* Demonstrated experience supporting remote orfield-basedworkforce and workshop environments.
* Experience working across multisite or multistate operations.
* Proven experience managing risk assessments, NCRprocessesand investigation activities.
* Strong understanding of WHS legislation and ability to apply risk management principles.
* Strong organisational and coordination skills.
* High attention to detail and strong documentation capability.
* Effective communicator (written and verbal).
* Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to travel asrequired(including interstate and overseas).
Highly Regarded
* Experience with HSEQ systems, i.e.safetyculture.
* Returnto work /injury management exposure.
* Experience with customer accreditation, induction, and compliance systems.
