Job Description
* Oversee day‐to‐day operations across engineering and manufacturing functions, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent execution.
* Provide strong HSE and compliance leadership, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, company standards and Zero Harm expectations.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity and quality outcomes.
* Lead, coach and mentor teams to build capability, accountability and high performance.
* Manage and optimise budgets, resources and operational timelines to meet business objectives.
* Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional stakeholders to strengthen processes and support broader business strategy.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support operational success.
A Successful Operations Manager ANZ Should Have
* Proven Operations Manager or senior operational leader within engineering or manufacturing environments
* Strong background in production operations (industrial components, pneumatics, hydraulics, machinery or similar)
* Demonstrated success leading safety initiatives, beyond compliance oversight
* Experience leading award‐based teams and front‐line leaders
* Track record of driving operational change and process improvement
* Strong data capability, including Excel and dashboard/reporting tools
* ERP exposure advantageous (JDE and/or SAP)
* Practical, clear communicator who can engage teams and senior stakeholders
