About the role
Whitman Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Metal Roofing Company Supervisor to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. This full-time role will oversee the day-to-day operations and supervision of our metal roofing installation projects.
What you'll be doing
* Lead and coordinate a team of metal roofers to ensure on-time and quality delivery of projects
* Oversee the planning, scheduling and execution of metal roofing installations
* Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve any issues and maintain strong relationships
* Provide mentoring and training to junior team members to develop their skills
* Assist with the preparation of project progress reports and other documentation
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a metal roofing supervisor or foreperson in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of metal roofing installation techniques, materials and equipment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and manage client relationships
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
* The ability to work directly under the Director and build a trusting relationship
* Strong organisation, communication and problem solving skills
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
* Relevant construction qualifications or trade certification
* Current White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate) is the minimum qualification required
* Willingness to travel as required across Central Queensland
