A Reservations Agent will serve as the main contact for room reservations at the hotel; and therefore, must offer an excellent service and influence the Guest decision to stay at the property.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‐oriented Reservations Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact in a guest's journey—helping them plan, personalize, and book their stay while maximizing sales opportunities for the hotel.
What You'll Do
* Handle and process reservations with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on delivering excellent service.
* Maximize room sales through proactive selling and up‐selling techniques.
* Review daily reservations and ensure all information is accurate and communicated to the correct departments.
* Verify guest and small group arrival details, preferences, and pricing.
* Support administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, and email communication.
* Maintain a strong sales mindset, converting every enquiry into an opportunity.
* Partner with the Reservations and Group & Tour teams to maximize revenue.
* Ensure commissions, rejected business, and guest information are documented correctly.
* Follow credit policies, pricing controls, brand standards, and hotel procedures.
* Maintain exceptional guest service standards and tidy workspaces.
* Support team members and carry out additional duties as required.
