School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Armidale Local Government Area

Responsibilities
* Provide relief at school crossing sites within the Armidale Local Government Area during school term hours (8:00‐9:30 AM and 2:30‐4:00 PM).
* Supervise children, parents, teachers and local motorists to ensure safe passage across roads.
* Monitor and identify potential hazards and communicate risks to relevant parties.
* Maintain a reliable presence for a minimum of one hour per shift, flexible within the designated time blocks.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and organisational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum age 18 at time of appointment.
* Strong community‐mindset and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
* Effective communication skills and alertness to safety hazards.
* Commitment to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and Health Assessment (training, uniforms and equipment provided).
* Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
