Employment Type: 1099 Consultant; approximately 10 hours per week

Job Description:
The Part-Time / Fractional Controller will provide corporate financial support, focusing on month-end close activities and assisting with bandwidth needs across the finance team. This is a 1099 contractor role, reporting and working directly to the CFO, and will not be billable to client contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and execute month-end close processes
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports
* Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
* Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
* Support ad hoc financial projects and bandwidth needs

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 10+ years of experience in senior corporate accounting or controller roles
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
* Ability to work independently and manage budgeted hours professionally
* Advanced-Expert level grasp of Deltek Costpoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* CPA certification
* Experience in government contracting environment
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Location & Schedule:
Flexible, part-time schedule; remote or hybrid options available
