Job Overview

This role focuses on developing and implementing asset management strategies to drive efficiency, productivity, and compliance across site operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring asset management programs, ensuring adherence to established systems and standards, and contributing to the resolution of short- and long-term priorities in support of production goals.

* Develop asset management plans and budgets aligned with operational priorities.
* Coordinate and monitor asset management programs across site operations.
* Ensure compliance with management systems that support safe, efficient, and standardised work practices.
* Contribute to the resolution of short- and long-term asset management priorities in support of production goals.
* Support cost control initiatives by assessing data and applying cost-effective asset utilisation strategies.
* Prepare and present detailed performance reports and insights for senior management.
* Drive continuous improvement, QA/QC, and optimisation across maintenance practices.
* Ensure team compliance with systems, standards, and governance processes.
* Proactively assess risk, implement mitigation plans, and oversee ongoing risk monitoring.


Requirements

Successful candidates will possess a high level of technical competency, leadership, and strategic insight, with the ability to influence performance outcomes through data, systems, and people. A formal tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) is also essential.

* Proven experience applying asset management best practices and standards.
* Sound understanding of statutory legislation and regulatory compliance.
* Advanced skills in managing asset management programs and maintenance systems.
* Strong compliance knowledge and a high level of risk management capability.
* Competent in report writing, data analysis, and performance insights.
* Proficient in QA/QC processes and delivering continuous improvement.
* Skilled in contractor and vendor management.
