- VPS Grade 2: $60,295 - $77,430 plus superannuation.
About The Business Unit
The Barwon Southwest Prison Precinct incorporates four custodial facilities located 6km north-west of Lara, 20km from the centre of Geelong and about 70km from Melbourne.
About The Role
A Property Administrator provides strong administrative support in handling sensitive Prison and Prisoner documentation, administrative and business support services.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include
- As part of the Records & Property team, and under supervision, providing high quality services and perform all functions pertaining to prisoner records, Individual Management File (IMF) registry and prison archives at BSW prisons
- Coordinate the preparation of all documentation relating to a prisoner's transfer, classification, release and court appearances and undertake operational processes associated with the prison's bails and discharges
- Controling and managing the daily operations of the Prisoners information into the PIMS and E*Justice Systems.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Well-developed computer skills
- Ability to undertake inquiries, prepare reports, correspondence and statistical returns
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
