Job Title: Claims Officer
We are seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join our team. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of claims-related activities.
About the Job
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract opportunity with a 7.25-hour day schedule from Monday to Friday. You will be based in Woonona, Singleton, or Speers Point with onsite parking available. A hybrid working arrangement will be considered after a training period.
* Efficiently manage claims-related administration and customer-service activities.
* Accurately and timely process accounts payments.
* Register claims and provide early notifications.
* Manage customer claims administration, mail, phone enquiries, and file management effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Effective management of claims administration and customer service activities.
2. Timely payment of accounts and accurate registration of claims.
3. Provision of excellent customer service through effective communication and complaint resolution.
4. Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and files.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Business Administration Certificate (essential).
* Strong computer skills, particularly with Adobe and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
