The safety and training advisor will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive safety initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with site leaders and crews, and delivering impactful training programs.
* Embedding a proactive safety culture
* Distributing and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures
* Maintaining accurate records of health and safety data and reporting incidents as required
Key requirements include:
* Previous experience in a similar role at an operational underground mine
* Familiarity with underground mobile equipment operation
* Working knowledge of WHS / DMIRS Acts, Regulations, and reporting requirements
* Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or similar), Cert IV in Training & Assessment, current First Aid certification
