The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. You'll be identifying key decision makers whilst adopting a creative outreach to qualify prospects and successfully position Checkout.com's value proposition.

* Consistently exceed targets on a monthly basis
* Display a creative prospecting cadence for targeted accounts

* Keep your ear to the ground to ensure the latest developments in different industries
* Learn and use various sales tools to network
* Work very closely with our sales team to help streamline the sales process whilst improving your knowledge
Qualifications
* Hunter Mindset: A proactive and positive attitude with a talent for navigating pathways to reach key decision-makers.
* Outbound Sales Experience: 2+ years in an outbound sales role, with a proven track record of successfully selling complex products or services to enterprise customers.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in the payments industry or with Australian merchants going global is a significant advantage.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, whether written, verbal, or in person, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels (including senior stakeholders).
* Familiarity with Sales Tools: Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
* Passion for Sales: A genuine enthusiasm for sales, coupled with resilience in the face of objections, turning challenges into opportunities.
* Intellectual Curiosity: An eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving landscape, with a proactive approach to personal and professional growth.
* Fast-Paced Environment: A desire to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment.
