Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team, blending patient care responsibilities with administrative and reception duties. This role is ideal for a professional who is organized, compassionate, and skilled in managing both clinical and front-office tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Duties:
* Provide safe, high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or General Practitioner (GP).
* Assist in patient consultations, wound care, immunizations, health assessments, and chronic disease management.
* Administer medications and monitor patients as required.
* Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in patient records.
* Support infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe practice environment.
* Administrative and Reception Duties:
* Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering any questions or addressing concerns.
* Manage appointment bookings, patient check-ins, and follow-up schedules.
* Handle phone inquiries, emails, and other communications with professionalism and discretion.
* Maintain accurate patient records, update information, and assist with data entry as needed.
* Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow and appointment management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Enrolled Nurse qualification and current registration with (relevant licensing/registration body).
2. Previous experience in a general practice or healthcare setting is preferred.
3. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in using medical software and general office applications.
5. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and work efficiently under pressure.
6. Familiarity with practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, MedicalDirector).
7. Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration.
8. A team-oriented approach with flexibility and adaptability in a busy clinical environment.
