About the Opportunity
You will report to the Sales Estimating Manager and be part of the Sales Estimating team.
In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to prepare accurate drawings within specified timeframes in line with our customer's requests and company standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
1. Ensuring proposed building projects are compliant with council and statutory authorities relevant to the specified build region
2. Production of quote sitings as required ensuring the house is positioned in accordance with the clients request and compliant with the nominated SEPP and Council regulations
3. Preparation of Draft Sales Plans in accordance with the tender, client variations, and external expert reports
4. Accurately applying the contour survey, RL's, cut and fill calculations, driveway gradients etc, to ensure compliance with company build standards and policies
5. Completing all drawings in line with the relevant National Construction Code and Australian Standards
6. Completing all drawings in ArchiCAD and in alignment with the business' standard practices, settings, and procedures
7. Performing administrative tasks associated with the role, including filing, collating, and processing of information in accordance with company standards
8. Providing solutions-based problem solving of site and design restrictions, whilst considering costs and the client's brief
About You
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of MJH and the NEX Group along with:
1. Experience working in a residential home construction environment
2. Minimum of 1 year producing drawings
3. Understanding of the NCC and related construction practices
4. Knowledge of current housing codes and regulations
5. Ideally with proficiency in a 3D drawing program (training in ArchiCAD will be provided)
6. A keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy with demonstrated interpersonal skills
