The Opportunity
We're looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Application Lead to take ownership of our enterprise MDM this role you'll oversee the design development and ongoing evolution of MDM applications ensuring data integrity scalability and compliance across complex systems. Act as both the technical expert and functional leader driving best practices innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full lifecycle of CMDM application development from design to enhancements.
* Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Champion data governance quality and consistency across integrated systems.
* Manage integrations between CMDM and upstream/downstream applications.
* Oversee incident resolution performance tuning and system upgrades.
* Provide technical leadership and guide solution architecture for development teams.
* Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
* Drive proof‑of‑concept (POC) and proof‑of‑value (POV) initiatives for new tools and patterns.
* Define and enforce application development best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Deep expertise in Master & Reference Data Management principles and tools.
* Hands‑on experience with MDM platforms (e.g. Ataccama Informatica SAP MDG or similar).
* A strong doer mindset with the ability to lead projects and mentor technical teams.
* Advanced technical skills in SQL data modelling and ETL processes.
* Knowledge of API integrations and cloud‑based architectures.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience building batch near real‑time and real‑time data pipelines using ELT / ETL tools (IICS Informatica PowerCenter DataStage etc.).
* Familiarity with RDBMS and OLAP databases (Oracle SQL Server Snowflake).
* Exposure to data engineering frameworks and orchestration tools (Control‑M Autosys Active Batch) is a plus.
* Background in insurance banking or large‑scale enterprise environments.
* Understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
