About the role
Specialised Dental is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Bowral, NSW. This part-time role will provide essential support to our experienced dentists, contributing to the delivery of high-quality dental care to our patients. We provide specialist dental care in Prosthodontics and provide services such as surgical dental implant placements, All-On-4 procedures, bone grafting, atraumatic extractions, crowns, bridges, and veneers. In addition, we provide general Dentistry and look after general dentistry procedures.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising equipment, and handing dentists the appropriate instruments
* Providing excellent customer service to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visit
* Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative tasks
* Staying up-to-date with dental industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
* Collaborating with the wider dental team to optimise workflows and contribute to the overall success of the practice
What we're looking for
* Completed dental assistant qualification or relevant experience in a dental setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to put patients at ease
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in the use of dental equipment and software
* A genuine interest in dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
* Must be available on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
