Your new companyYou will be working with the Big 4 bank who is looking to hire an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst on a contract basis.
Your new roleAs the Credit Officer, primarily responsible for the credit risk approval and management of a portfolio of Corporate customers and transactions. Responsibility will also be exercised in the management of Credit Risk arising from Debt Products (including Debt Capital Markets), and Financial Markets (eg foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives) activity across the Corporate, Financial Institutions, Government, Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure and Resources portfolios
What you'll need to succeedAbility to act independently, think innovatively, solve problems and exhibit a collaborative growth mindset.At least 7 years experience in a Corporate credit-related role.Deep understanding of Credit Risk arising from Debt Products (including Debt Capital Markets) and Financial Markets products, and ability to effectively manage the value chain between Dealer, Relationship Manager and Credit Officers. Experience jn developing/ reviewing credit policiesPrevious delegated authority to approve credit risk is considered highly desirablePractical knowledge of legal documentation (Term Sheets, ISDA documentation)Superior communication skills, as well as excellent negotiating and influencing skillsIndustry qualifications such as AIMR, GARP or PRMIA would also be well regarded
