About The Role
John Hunter Hospital provides targeted recruitment for Nursing and Midwifery positions. This role supports indigenous staff and enhances our ability to provide a culturally safe workplace. Orientation is delivered at the beginning and end of each week and includes staff rounding, dedicated cultural supervision, and participation in activities such as cultural celebrations, meetings, and consultation forums. Each orientation program is tailored to meet the needs of the successful applicant, with ongoing cultural supervision and support to foster growth, connection, and success.

Requirements
* Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA and relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience.
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent (e.g., Enterprise Trainer Presenting Skill Set).
* Aboriginal descent (as described) and eligibility under the Anti-Discrimination Act for identification as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
