Ever wanted to create quests, tweak loot tables, and make players scream with joy (and rage)? We’re hiring someone who loves spreadsheeting game systems as much as they love a bit of gaming. We’re looking for a creative and collaborative Game Designer to join our team. You’ll be designing and implementing content for a Mobile and PC title in live operation. You will work closely with senior designers and report to the game's producer. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help shape the player experience through events, features, and updates that keep our game world fresh and exciting. This is a full-time position. It is also a hybrid Office/WFH position with 2-3 days per week in our Collins St, Melbourne office (or more if you prefer). We are not taking international applications at this time. About the role: Reporting to the project's Producer, your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing live content. This may include events, characters, challenges, and seasonal features. Collaborating with other designers to refine game mechanics, rewards, and progression systems, and ensuring that content aligns with player expectations Working with producers to plan and execute content calendars and live ops schedules Analyzing player data and feedback to iterate on content and improve engagement Writing clear and concise design documentation for the project team Participating in playtests and providing constructive feedback on game features Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' strategies About you: A passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes live content engaging Experience with Unity Some knowledge of game design tools and scripting Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills in other areas of game dev are a bonus Extra points for experience in mobile or PC live ops, or working on F2P titles Please attach a cover letter to your application telling us a bit about yourself, the games you like, and how you think you'd fit with us in this role.
