We are seeking a qualified and experienced manufacturing maintenance manager for our Kwinana manufacturing plant. This role will lead a tight knit team to deliver the capital expenditure projects maintain that maintain and improve our world class facilities.

What you'll be doing
* Create, develop and lead a high-performance, people focused engineering & maintenance team keeping plant availability and reliability at industry leading levels
* Lead the maintenance team to maintain and improve plant reliability and to keep production running at optimum levels.
* Work closely with the Operations Manager, Supervisors and operators to troubleshoot issues, work through plant breakdowns and review processes and procedures to identify root cause and implement continuous improvement activities.
* Manage reliability and maintenance operating costs.
* Responsible for employee and industrial relations relating to the maintenance function.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, automation and operational excellence.
* Develop and drive the Preventative Maintenance program, and develop the programmes required to shift to a condition-based inspection & maintenance plant
* Identify future capital works projects and provide recommendations for actions relating to the projects. Manage capital works projects.
* Provide engineering and technical support to maintenance and production personnel.
About you
* Strong people and culture leader with excellent communication and team engagement skills
* Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or electrical preferred)
* Experience in maintenance planning with the ability to work with and understand CMMS systems
* Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team
* Strong understanding of mechanical processes with experience in a plant engineering, plant maintenance or similar role
* A strong commitment to safety and quality
* IT systems and MS Office Suite competency
* Willingness to work outside of hours as required
