Road Maintenance Workers – WENDOUREE Chandler Macleod Group, in partnership with one of Victoria's leading road maintenance providers, is seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers for a casual role based at the WENDOUREE Depot. This is a full‑time (Monday – Friday) position with overtime opportunities. The role involves servicing roads throughout Northern and Western Victoria, carrying out maintenance and construction tasks, and responding to emergency incidents.
Responsibilities
* Inspect the road network and rectify hazards and defects
* Perform general labouring tasks
* Compact, level and spread materials to form roads
* Routine road maintenance and obstruction removal
* Operate trucks, power tools and machinery
* Participate in emergency response efforts, including after‑hours call‑outs and potential travel across Victoria
Essential Qualifications
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
* Traffic Management Certificate
* Ability to pass pre‑employment checks, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening and police check
* Basic proficiency in using tablets or mobile devices for reporting
Preferred Qualifications
* Plant operator competency
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Previous experience in a similar role
