As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Motivate, lead and direct project teams including engineers during planning and construction phases. Effective team management is crucial in this role.
* Provide first point of contact with clients and coordinate client project requirements to ensure timely delivery.
* Analyse project information to prepare programs, work breakdown structures, estimates and budgets to achieve business objectives.
* Risk management: focus on safety and commercial contract management to mitigate potential risks.
* Resource management: plan, schedule and manage all resources including labour, material and external services to meet project milestones.
* Sub-contractor engagement and management are critical in this role.
* Program control: monitor project timeline, milestones and delivery schedules to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Financial control: track, manage and forecast project budget and profit margins to optimize business performance.
* Project reporting: prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, providing insights into project progress and future directions.
