Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in their daily lives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
About the Role:
* Support individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in SIL arrangements and respite services
* Assist with personal activities such as hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance, and meals
* Transport participants to community-based outings using a company vehicle or your own
Requirements:
* Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support
* 12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities
* Australian Driver's License
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Reliable smartphone with data
