About Us:
We are a growing family business specialising in the customisation of wall and floor tiles.
We have experienced a significant increase in demand for our service cutting tiles for small and major building projects and manufacturer of pool coping tiles using our Italian made machinery.
Position Overview:
You will be assisting the team and working with the owner in the operation of the business.
No previous experience required, we are seeking an individual with who's genuinely keen to learn and doesn't mind a bit of physical work.
No travel involved, all work is performed in our factory in Burleigh Heads.
Required skills:
You will be reliable, punctual and hard working and be willing to collaborate with other team members to ensure the work gets done.
The role will require you to:
* Unpacking and packing tiles
* Follow plans to create tiles that meet client requirements.
* Cutting and polishing tiles to achieve specified sizes and desired finish.
* Utilise specialised machinery to manufacture custom pool coping tiles.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure tiles are free of defects and meet our high standards.
* Perform routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
